About Us
At Cordner Science, our clients value our ability to move from high-level science to viable, field-level solutions. We strive to find and maintain a sustainable balance between economic, environmental and social needs.
Quality Management
Cordner Science works in a quality management environment based on the principles of Good Laboratory Practices, often referred to as GLP and more recently referred to as Total Quality Management or TQM.
We are trained in GLP and our work includes internal quality control practices and regular, third-party quality assurance audits.
The following excerpt expands on the benefits of GLP:
The result of GLP is that the performance of a laboratory [i.e. anywhere GLP work is done including facility and field sites] is improved and its working effectively controlled. An important aspect is also that the standards of quality are documented and can be demonstrated to authorities and clients. This results in an improved reputation for the laboratory (and for the institute as a whole). In short, the message is:
- say what you do
- do what you say
- do it better
- be able to show what you have done

A GLP approach to work lends itself to establishing and verifying sustainability or due diligence claims, which also leads to marketing opportunities.
